Bybit Pay, the global payment arm of crypto exchange Bybit, partnered with Armenian digital payments provider Idram to enable crypto payments at over 25,000 retail locations across Armenia.

The integration, which will be launched at a ceremony in Yerevan tomorrow, will enable Bybit Pay users to make QR code payments across stores nationwide. Idram currently controls more than 90% of Armenia’s QR payments market and has served local customers for 20 years.

“The partnership reflects Bybit’s effort to merge traditional fintech with crypto convenience,” said Sophie Chen, Head of Marketing for Bybit’s Payment Business Unit. She noted that the collaboration extends the company’s reach while creating value for local communities.

The integration gives merchants single-point access to the Eurasian Economic Union market of more than 185 million people. International travelers using Bybit Pay can also make payments through the app while in Armenia.

“The system allows Bybit users to pay with digital assets at thousands of locations throughout Armenia, reinforcing the company’s leadership in QR payments,” said Idram CEO Arsene Kdenian.

The service remains available to verified users outside service-restricted countries as Bybit Pay continues its regional expansion to increase financial accessibility.
