Trading platform Robinhood launched its Robinhood Trivia Live game on Wednesday, offering up $1 million worth of Bitcoin prizes—and drawing nearly 400,000 players in the process.

The game, which consisted of 12 multiple choice questions about finances and cryptocurrencies, began with more than 392,600 players. By the time the final round arrived, only 1,210 users were still in play, angling for a share of the Bitcoin stash.

Lasting about 15 minutes, the game led with one-time HQ Trivia host Scott Rogowsky presenting a seemingly simple question about Tesla and Fed Chair Jerome Powell. But by the time the third round came around, more than 230,000 users had already been cleared after failing to correctly answer previous queries.

That’s when the question difficulty began to ramp up, starting with a question which required users to identify a stock ticker that was not included within the S&P 500 Index—which alone wiped out another 130,000 users.

With only about 30,000 players remaining in round 4, cryptocurrencies made their entrance into the game, starting with a question about the term “HODL.” After that, the game asked players about the total supply of Bitcoin, and the year in which Dogecoin was created.

Just 1,210 users found their way to the 12th and final question, which asked them to identify the largest IPO in 2024 by deal size.

A total of 615 users answered correctly, according to the game, earning each a share worth $1,626.01 in Bitcoin, approximately 0.018 BTC.

The platform will run another session of the quiz game Thursday, but this time exclusively for members of its premium subscription service, Robinhood Gold. Winners will split another $1 million in Bitcoin prizes, though all participants will be eligible for an undisclosed amount of Dogecoin as well.
